LSU was looking past Troy to the Gators most likely, wouldn't you concur ?
I agree, but I still like Troy's team a lot. If Mizzou goes out and beats Texas, I may change my mind. At the moment, Mizzou hasn't beaten a bowl eligible team though I think. I just don't know how good Mizzou is. I've watched Troy and been consistently impressed.

Forgot that game. That was a bad choke by OM. That might've been worse than their Alabama loss.

Catch that South Alabama slugfest ?

Troy would dominate that garbage mizzou stink all up and down the field.

3. Missouri to Purdue- It's Purdue, and they lost by 32.
Purdue has a great coach right now, and despite being a laughing stock most of the last 15 yrs, their history is still better than Mizzou.
Damn good engineering school too, but West Lafayette is miserable and depressing during the winter. Which lasts about 6 months up there.

What? No it doesn't, maybe by Birmingham standards but not really "Winter"....and they were decent 10ish years ago, not 15.

I lived 30 min from West Lafayette for 2 years. It could easily snow there in October or in March. The river carries cold air from the Great Lakes that make them more susceptible to winter weather than other nearby areas of the state. It gets miserably cold there in January. Its a bleak town this time of year.

Snow doesn’t mean it’s Winter. I used to go to Muncie and Lafayette twice a year. It’s dreary but not that bad.

For once I agree with you. The joys of Great Lakes weather. it was not uncommon for it to snow in October and still be on the ground in March.

I agree that Brohm has Purdue on the right track, but they still lost to Rutgers this year. Just losing to them wouldn't have gotten Mizzou on the list but losing by 32 does.
I randomly went to a bar with some Purdue grads before a game in Tuscaloosa 2 years ago. Nice people, all engineers.

Troy wasn't even LSU's worst loss this year. MSU loss was by a greater margin and Troy should finish ranked higher.

LSU lost to Troy. I’m sure this thread sounded great in your mind.

Absolutely A&M/UCLA ...
Y’all can argue about the rest

Troy wasn’t even LSU’s worst loss.
Anytime LSU losses to Troy, it’s their worst loss.

Troy was better than most of the SEC teams LSU played this year.
It's still one of the worst losses in conference this year.

The flat topography makes it even worse too. I buried my grandfather in a blizzard in the middle of May in north Iowa, and they aren't affected by the Lakes.
Granted that's definitely not the norm and was a record, but that still was an experience leaving Alabama in 80+ degrees and sweating and getting there to carry a casket through a few feet of snow
