So yes, but your RB ran his arse off in the game. He simply had nowhere to go.

10 pages in 12 hours.

It’s obviously a legitimate discussion.

Auburn and Florida fans seem to have the strongest opinions.

Laughter is not what brings legitimacy to a conversation, kiddo.

Neither are your false narratives.

Didn't read thread: Everyone's in agreement on Kirby, right? Anyone that's saying Saban at this point isn't paying attention.

Saban

He still has so much name recognition alone and he isn't going anywhere any time soon.

We are very likely to have Coach Saban's best team in 2019. This isn't close to being over.

Honestly, if it wasn't posted by a UGA fan, it'd probably be treated as a legitimate conversation. I think it's worthwhile. Saban is definitely still the best in the business, but he's getting old.

This is not much of a contest. Until Saban actually shows some sign of "decline" you pick him every single day of the week if you want to win championships

I think Kirby proved last year that he can keep his team focused and mentally prepared throughout a season, much like Saban. He can also recruit and win big games, and he's a Georgia guy.

But can he do it for damn near EVERY season? No proof of that yet and I still don't Kirby will be able to do this. Saban is just a freak.

While that is true, I think people tend to forget this cyborg, unhuman saban we're used to now has existed less than 10 years.

Started at toledo, spent 5 years at MSU with not much success to speak of aside from his last, spent 5 years at LSU and aside from the 03 title winning season (his 10th season as HC) was nothing to write home about. 2 average seasons in the NFL, 1 lousy season at bama, then boom...cyborg.

All I'm saying is that nobody in the mid-90s would have possibly in their wildest imagination be able to guess that saban would be "saban". Kirby got to the playoffs and title game in year 2 as a head coach, which is insane. Granted there is no telling where he'll go from here, but I think when you look at his whole resume/philosophy/recruiting/staff/etc etc from top to bottom the chances are better he'll continue to thrive than they will that he'll peter out quickly. Of course, that doesn't mean he'll ever win a title either, but I think it's safe to say he'll have us in great position for a while.
