Reading a message board closely for years without ever feeling compelled to post? That is hard to believe, and if its true, its quite odd. This board moves quick, so it would be easy to miss a single thread on a subject similar to this, especially for a non poster.

Kelly because I feel like he could have more upside but is also riskier . I think almost everyone would pick both of them over the last 2 head coaches we hired . You act like picking between these 2 is a bad thing . It’s amazing what one lucky season does to your confidence. A year ago Georgia fans would have taken either one of these guys .

This whole discussion started with what happened in close GA/ Florida games and you being a typical Gator smartass immediately throws in the oh so original 1980 card...which had NOTHING to do with my point.

Says the guy with one championship, you’re program has been an underachieving laughing stock for the last 3 decades. That’s what I would call trash. Even after winning an SEC championship this year you don’t get to enjoy it because everyone here knows Bama beat you when it mattered. If our program is such trash you should have no problem not worrying about what’s happening in Gainesville. You numbskulls are the most insecure fans I have ever seen.

Pointing out reality isnt evidence of insecurity, but Resorting to name calling is.
Since Spurrier left, UGA has underachieved, but not as bad as UF has, and thats including the 6 urban seasons. Also, our future looks incredibly bright, so we have that going for us, and we have the most recent SEC title to enjoy as well.

Are you really trying to make the argument Georgia has been the better program since Spurrier left? We have 2 national Titles in that time frame. That trumps anything that you have accomplished. Take off your red and black glasses. Wins don’t matter unless they come with Hardware in the big leagues bud. You can enjoy all your 10 win seasons while we enjoy our Crystal Balls. Do you have any idea what it feels like to win a National Championship? Where you alive in 1980?

I know you got a Trophy for beating Auburn in Atlanta, but Alabama got the last laugh. I will always consider them the best team in the SEC in 2017 and I’m sure I’m not the only one. So have fun with that.

We know UF got lucky and won a couple of MNC before Saban got Bama rolling starting in 2009, but there is more to that in a comprehensive program comparison:
Wins: UGA 159, UF 140
SEC titles: UGA 3, UF 2
Winning %: UGA 8th, UF 17th
5+ loss seasons: UF 8, UGA 3

WGAS who you "consider" the SEC champion...we freaking won it on the field and in the record book. You guys have been shitting on our season since last September so it's no surprise your still shitting on it.
