Imagine you could wave a magic wand, or in this case, had a gun to your head...
You have to pick between Chip Kelly and Dan Mullen to be your head football coach.
Begin now.

Chip “the ink is drying” Kelly

Call me crazy, but I'd pick Mullen. Considering what he did at a school with fairly limited resources while sharing a division with LSU, Auburn, and Alabama, he has had some tremendous success while running a fairly clean program and developing some great players.
Kelly doesn't seem like the kind of coach that is going to truly elevate ok talent to be better than the sum of its parts. Dan is the man for that.

All things being equal including both coaches being all in, Chip Kelly.
However Chip obviously didn’t want the grind of the SEC or the expectations of Florida because he was offered the opportunity and went to UCLA. Dan accepted it, that has to count for something.

You seem to have completely forgotten his time at Oregon.

It's a Gator hater convention. I love it.
Should we start charging them a fee?

All I can say is you didn’t see threads like this when Mac was the head guy. This just shows me we are on the right track, we’ve been an afterthought for years, not anymore. Gets me excited.

Yeah everyone is so scared.

Didn’t say you were scared, I’m just saying we are obviously more relevant than we were, nobody took the time out of there day to tell all of us Gators how bad our head coach was when Mac was in charge, it went without saying no matter how much some Gators wanted to believe, but now all of a sudden you care? Seems to be a correlation, and I don’t think it’s you looking out for our program.

So yall are happy that people remember you exist from time to time. It brings you joy. That’s where your program is at.
Got it.
Got it.

Lmao you are something else, do you have a reading comprehension problem? You sure are laying it on thick for someone who has the best Coach in the conference. Why do you even care who’s better between Kelly and Mullen? Your opinion is all that matters to you anyway it’s not like you are going to listen to anyone else’s perspective. If you think I’m happy with my program just being relevant then you’re stupid but perspective of where my program is matters. You’re damn right I’m happy Dawg fans like you are posting threads about Florida, you would think with how locked up you guys have the east it wouldn’t matter what is going on in Gainesville. However it obviously does, I wonder why?

How did that work for him? Do you think he went to UCLA because they are a better program?
Posted on 3/30/18 at 3:09 pm to GatorBait24
quote:he won 20 games his first two years and went to the playoffs. yes, he went overboard in his third year in philly in regards to personnel moves, but the complete and total disregard for the fact that he had real and legitimate success when people look back on his time in the NFL is just so bizarre
How did that work for him?
quote:he went to UCLA because he spent a lot of time in the pac 10/12 as a coach and had a level of comfort and familiarity there that he didnt have with the SEC. that has frick to do with "not wanting to deal with the grind or deal with expectations"
Do you think he went to UCLA because they are a better program?
