Sims was black and he was a QB. He also had a great chance to start after the more senior BCS MVP quarterback left and/or was injured, but he apparently decided he didn't want to wait for that opportunity.

Honestly, makes me nervous as hell.
Although, I can't remember the last time we had a QB go down for an extended period of time. Hell, I had no idea McElroy played in the BCSNC game with broken ribs.

I bet AU fans were nervous in 2010 when their eventual national championship team was one concussion, ankle strain, etc. away from being 4-8.

I don't think suggesting that it would make fans nervous is one of the necessary tit for tat bickering points between auburn and bama fans.
I for one was nervous as shite in the 4th quarter of every game (at least post USCe when we realized cam was pretty good) when cam would stay on the turf for a longer period of time to make sure that everyone around him was up.

Aren't all QBs on the depth chart competing to start? Not saying that you're wrong but Rocco is solidly positioned as the starter. Sims would have to be outrageously good right away to start this year

Oh snap you got me, I was just always on the edge of my seat awaiting possible disaster. Oh Noz how would I go to work and live my life had Cam gone down. I shiver at the prospect still today.

Just passing on what I heard on Penn State radio
we may see Sims if he gets the waiver. I have no knowledge of UVA football, not sure I have ever seen a full game they played in the last 50 years
