I grew up in the 'hood.
I went to what was at the time, the oldest Jr. High east of the Mississippi. In the ninth grade I got bussed to a school that was 80% Black. Nice big new school. Hell, the water fountains even worked.
Blacks and Whites hated it equally. All it did was separate friends and cause headaches getting to and from school.
I don't need some fricking redneck hick from Alabama trying to lecture me on race relations.

Damn that's awesome but I already knew Phil rocked. Too many folks have commented on casual/non-football meetings.
My cuz was a hostess (back before KIffin turned them out) and she told me a story I'll never forget. It seems one of the prize recruits was getting a little fresh and wouldn't backoff. Dude was doing this on a tour of Neyland for the croots. Well, Fulmer saw it and sent him home on the spot.
That's just one thing though. He and his wife had plenty of good stories about them.
