Mitch Mustain would have done well here. But the dear Mr. interception king email, the code red, the harassment from the fans eventually forced him to transfer. He said that he wanted to get away from everybody. So Southern Cal is far enough for him.
The Arkansas media didn't question Nutt much except Wally Hall. Who made himself sound like an idiot because he couldn't back up his claims.
Nutt was a lazy recruiter and to this day the 2000 recruiting class is still worst in Arkansas history.

I saw Hillis yesterday at that Ozark Outdoors place in Tontitown. I think he's an owner or something.
Great store. Bought another gun while there. The indoor shooting range is top notch. Their clothing is all basically right-wing 2A "frick you" type stuff.

quote:Saban had the street cred to do that. No one who would coach at Arkansas does.
One major thing Saban did when he first arrived was doing away with all of the influence that "Alabama guys" had on the athletic administration prior to his arrival. (Auburn arguably still needs to do this.)

Wally Hall? Questioning someone? No, just no.

I'm not sure there really was a way to make it all work right at that point.
Once Hootie was forced to take on Gus to get the Springdale kids the disfunction was inevitable. His ego couldn't take it. I think its kind of surprising we did as well as we did that year with what was going on behind the scenes.
Thank god we have Pittman. He understands and respects the culture/tradition of Arkansas football AND knows that we have to recruit at a national level to have success in this league.

He would break me in half. Sure. what's your point? I still don't write things on here I wouldn't say to someone in person if it needed to be said
I played in 17 small college football games as a walkon DB and special teamer, never got a penny in scholarship money to do it. I have no sympathy for scholarship players who want to whine like little girls
