Do you think Mrs Petrino really wants to be the object of ridicule from strangers as she takes her daily shopping trip to the Walmart in Fayaetteville? Bobby needs to resign to save his marriage?

If Petrino resigns it will be a win/win for him and Arkansas. Resigning will save face if it comes down to him being fired. The next job he goes after will think he has mended his ways and become a "model" coach. He can also take the time to repair the damage to his family life - which would be the most important. The university doesn't look bad to the alumni and fans. The AD is off the hook.

Higher profile individuals don't shop at a regular Walmart here. There's a special Walmart location in NWA for certain people and Walmart corporate employees.

Yeah...it's well known to us exclusive people that shop at the "Bayou Walmart" deep in the swamp. The point is that his wife/family might want to not be in the area anymore......

Arky fans seem real defensive about this. If he leaves will any Arky fan post here any more.

"Many" have been boasting that ole Bobby was the best coach not named Saban (forget the small detail about being one of the 3 SEC west coaches to not win the conference or BCS).....now that he is in dire stairts they have no shells in the Flagship cannon.......er....conundrum we have.
