Nick Saban just donated 10K to a highschool

Now...what does both get out of this?

They get naive people like you thinking they hung the moon. Smoke and mirrors dude. The guy can donate all the money in the world and it wouldn't change the fact that he's an arrogant a-hole that ruined his family for a couple pieces of arse and lied about it until he couldn't lie about it anymore. And you think I believe he's remorseful? The only thing that guy feels remorse about is getting caught. Like I said, he tried to lie about it and wasn't able to. The fact you buy into this this telling.

Such a broken man

Per this other thread. What else do you need from this guy to prove what a total piece of shite this guy is. Broken man...

It makes me think he donated 100k. I hate when people discount charity based on the donator. It doesn't matter if Hitler or the Dalai Lama donated the money, it still buys the same amount (which for most charities is 60% recycled into advertisement).

If that happens and Jeff Long is completely alright with it then frick him. As of right now I really respect him, but if he willingly takes a coach that stabbed him in the back and lied to his face about something that important then he's a fricking idiot

I dont know. The guy was trying to protect nailing a pretty nice piece of trim. For a guy that age, thats a consideration. Even Jeff Long has to admire a guy who can pull 25 year old snatch at his age.

Yeah but Hitler donating 100k doesn't change the fact that he killed millions of Jews. It might make Hitler feel warm and fuzzy on the inside and it might make other German apologists think he's a good guy, but he still committed genocide.

Great analogy dude.

Don't be a fricking idiot. It would bring a ton of shite down on any major program that hires Petrino. It's not the cheating that got his dumb arse fired, it was the lying about it for months and putting the girl on the fricking payroll. That's a major violation brotha.

Switzer was twice as bad as Petrino morally but had no problem keeping his NCAA job and getting the best job in the NFL soon after. Don't give me that bs.

You think in today's media world, Switzer wouldn't have a very tough time keeping his job? In the past, transgressions could be contained to within the state. Much like Switzer, Petrino was successful so fans were willing to overlook that for winning. I understand that. But in this day and age, it's hard for a university to let such transgressions not have consequences because you've won a few football games.

The sporting world has changed so much since then. And Switzer had player scandals and shite but I don't think even he ever put a mistress on the state's payroll.

Penn State had no problem keeping a 5-10 year secret...and they weren't even winning.

And look where it got them. They're staring down a 10 year black hole in the college football world.

Nobody knew about it. I have no doubt, based on Petrino's own words, that if he could have continued that lie and only a set few people would have known about it, he would have. And he would still have his job. But the story didn't add up, and we finally found out that he was lying. The lie did as much harm as the actual cheating.
