Agreed. He's saying all the right things: "Petrino said he and Becky are in counseling", "That's not how I was raised. That's not how I raised my children. I take responsibility for it and I am really sorry. I have played it over and over in my head a million times. How could I do this? How could this happen? And not just the hiring. Or that day. But my actions, my behavior -- for months it was just wrong."

He will be back, and I wouldn't even be surprised if it was in the SEC.

Interesting - I've seen/heard a few hog fans say that BP didn't actually hire the girl, that Long was responsible for hiring her. Looks like BP cleared that up with this statement.

I'm just not sure WHY he hired her. Honestly, what was the point? Love? Showing off?

He was getting laid regardless, I just don't get it.

If Arky loses 3-4 games this year, you can pretty well guarantee they will bring Petrino back in.

Shows desperation IMO.

Also depicts that football is more important than morality.

It isn't?

If he comes back, he would have been in "time out" for a year. I don't think he'll be back, but if he were, I'd be ok with it.

Charges dropped. And was taking up for a girl getting pushed around by an ex marine.

He's also not a HEAD COACH.

C'mon man, you're better than this.

And I don't blame you. But I think it sends a bad message.

Hopefully LSU will be the one smart enough to hire Bobby so as to be able to slow down the unstoppable offensive scheme he left behind in Fayetteville.

Um, didn't he wreck a motorcycle?

And I'm sure his family felt more pain than that marine. Ya know, his wife and kids?

Not really.

Just goes to show how arrogant he is(not that anyone needed more examples), he grants an interview like 4 months after being fired right before football season.

Dudes not that important.

This all day.

Just watched the interview. The dude is faker than Dolly Partons tits. He was smirking through his answers about Jessica D. and other questions. His main goal was obviously to save his career instead of saving his family
