Texas and OU both turned down SEC invitations. They had more to lose than gain. TAMU and Mizzou didn't.

What has he necessarily done to warrant action by the school? He is not talking to the media. What do you want the school to do? Throw him under the bus? If that ever happens, it won't be long until Alabama is fighting Oklahoma for prime arse-kissing position. You can beat Texas on the field all day, but it won't make a bit of difference; just ask OU.

Next thing you know, SEC coffers become Texas coffers and they're deciding who gets what. Texas doesn't play the game on the field, like SEC schools do. I'd also expect the SEC office to be moved to Dallas, so it'll be closer to Texas.

Not really. Despite Cam being guilty as sin he never showed his arse nor did their higher-ups including the academic end. Whatever behind the scenes arse-kissing Auburn did regarding Cam stayed behind the scenes. Cam didn't run amok in public and you didn't see an entire administration join a line to publicly act like tween girls at a Justin Beiber concert.

As I said earlier, you can break the rules but showing your arse is often worse. That isn't the public display of class every program should adhere to, especially when it's constant and even the academic side is fawning.
