As far as I'm concerned, if the conference expanded to 30 teams, Alabama is still your problem, & that's without those NCAA investigations.. & the SEC saw opportunity in money. I have no problem with the fan base. Mid to Southern Mo has good people. It just doesn't seem like a geographical fit. I can understand the market grab though.

Mizzou is a great school with even better peeps.
They were a top-notch get for the SEC.
