Pete Golding is great. Except when it really matters.

The biggest mystery in my football watching life and it’s not even close is why we hired or kept Pete as long as we did. He was our kryptonite.

Third and Golding and the delayed safety blitz that I’m still waiting on will forever haunt me.

If I ever got to see him in real life I would ask him, just one on one, do you feel bad for your performances? Like does he know he sucks or is he blind to it all. It’s baffling.

Bama & LSU fans, get in here.

Golding never made a single adjustment. We rushed 3 and dropped 8 from the start. Somehow still had open receivers everywhere. Stockton goes what, 25-31? Jesus. He gets paid way too much to EVER produce an effort like the one we just watched. I know we don’t have 5* players everywhere, but this seemed like coaching malpractice.

Also, Sage Ryan has been a net negative this year. Real shitty of y’all to send him our way, LSU.

Oh well.

Long time LSU fan. Ole Miss does not have the guys that can cover 1 on 1 so if you move your safeties down to the box, you get exposed by teams that can throw.

Against LSU you played 3 man fronts and pressured LSU as our OLS can't block air and kept 8 in coverage. Watching the game yesterday when you went light in box, UGA ran it and when you played man and moved safeties down closer to LOS, they completed passes on you. Not sure it is scheme as much as personnel. UGA has run the ball on everyone including Bama (200 plus) and their passing game is getting better.

LSU's offense I think is among the 2 worst in CFP, we have not scored more than 24 points now vs. 5 P4 teams. Let that sink in.

I think he did what he could do. Looking at the rest of your schedule, I don't think any of the offenses save maybe OU with Mateer (he seems to be getting back in rhythm after that injury and time off) will present a team that can both run it and throw it equally well.

Golding made Mike Bobo look like Bill Walsh yesterday. 8 drives, 5 TDs, 3 FGs, yikes.

I never was a huge Golding fan when he was at Bama.

Dude had Will Anderson, Dallas Turner and Chris Braswell to play with along with a future NFL secondary and he’d be sending safeties from 20 yards deep and dropping Anderson and Turner into coverage on athletic TEs.

Absolute white board genius / onfield underachiever.
