I've always thought Bama has the worst. But if Ole Miss ever became nationally relevant, we'd be just as bad if not worse.

I've seen horrible things from all fan bases. I don't have the time or the energy to list them all. That's why when visitors come to Tuscaloosa I act as cordial as I can. Now the minute someone starts acting like a dick, they might want to walk away because I'm going to ruin their day.

I don't go to many away games so my interaction with opposing fans is primarily in Starkville. Where I sit, I don't see many opposing fans in the stadium so any interaction is in the Junction. Never had a problem with any.
I would say most of my experience with a different fan base is with baseball. Baseball fans are a different breed than football fans.
I am guessing here but I would bet that most people on here base their opinion of other fan bases entirely on the yahoos we find here and that's probably not a good representation of reality.

I think having a double-digit IQ is a prerequisite to be an AU fan. The ones in Alabama are awful, but the ones in Western Georgia are even worse. Classless, arrogant, and dumb as all get out.

That said, Nebraska fans are effin' terrible. They'll kill you with kindness in Lincoln, but everywhere else (and online) they're the rudest, most idiotic fricks on the face of the planet.

There's a small handful of Nebraska fans in Alabama, and every time I see one I just want to punch them in the face.

Agreed... although I like to chalk this up to the Little Rock effect. Wish they would let us play in Fayetteville. I would gladly drive the extra distance. 5.5hr vs 8hr, no big deal...

I had a great time in Fayetville. The people were really nice and welcoming. It was a good time.

That said, the two worst fan bases that travel to Auburn are UGA and LSU. I actually enjoy the LSU folks though. Damn coonasses know how to drink, and can be pretty fun to mess with. UGA fans just suck straight up. Also, there's always a large number of Asian UGA fans that travel to Auburn. It just doesn't seem right for some reason.
