The league finishing 14 games under .500 against itself will hurt come CFP time. Could see Bama being left out if this happens.

That is a virtual impossiblity.

The league will finish .500 against itself ... which is why the OP's post is so full of shite.

OP you deserve all the downvotes you receive and anyone who upvoted you obviously doesn't understand how math works.

The league will have to finish .500 against itself ... something more like this.

1 Bama 7-1
2 Auburn 6-2
3 LSU 5-3
4 Miss State 4-4
4 A&M 4-4
6 Ole Miss 3-5
7 Arky 1-7

1 UGA 7-1
2 SC 6-2
3 UF 5-3
4 Mizzou 4-4
5 UT 2-6
5 Kentucky 2-6
7 Vandy 0-8

That's 56-56 and that's .500

Ole Miss could surprise in the West just as Mizzou could surprise in the East ... either could win or lose a game here or there.

UF and SC will battle for 2nd in the East with their game played in the Swamp. SC has the easier overall conference schedule

LSU is the wildcard in the West but they have a lot of questions that need answering.

IMHO Tennessee is going to be interesting to watch. They've got a tough schedule.

Well to be fair I think it’s more like a complete disregard for math rather than poor math skills. Although both may be true.

The last time we played in Starkville we were up 35-3 at halftime and had walk ons playing by the end of the game. I'm not too worried about it.

But the last time you played in Starkville you played a Mississippi State team that lost 7 games in the year. 2018 will have a Miss. State team that lost4 games and will be returning something like 18 starters. It will be much tougher this time.

Not saying they win, but it might not be as easy as you think.

Ya we have a terrible record in Tuscaloosa

Is this the part where you act like beating Mike Shula, Coach Fran and Mike Dubose has bearing on beating current day Nick Saban? That must be a fun world to live in.

You are 1-4 vs Alabama in Tuscaloosa under Saban with your only win being the best team in Auburn history beating the worst team on the Saban era by 1 point. Your losses are by 36, 49, 11 and 18.

But hey, you beat Mike Shula a bunch.

Just looking at schedules, Arky and A&M have easier East opponents than say Miss State or LSU. A&M is a wild card... Jimbo's offense is complicated. There could be growing pains the first season, and it might take him a couple years to get his players in.

I don't see anything too unrealistic here. Nicely done.
