made my case in the OP. I don't believe any of what I said in that post was wrong. I have nothing to argue with you about. :cheers

Might or might not help your case here as my last word on the whole subject ...

I'll help once more.

What is LSU guilty of? Saying mean things?
quote:
It's more about what LSU has done throughout their athletic programs. The coaching hires they've done lately, the governor and his involment, then this whole way the pro players thing happened.
The whole thing has been very rougue, very we don't give a shite what everyone thinks, we going sue if you don't like it. That, imo, it what's driving the kick out of the conference stuff.
A damning part of the evidence ...
quote:
LSU basketball coach Will Wade said "We're going to be unapologetic about it. This is who we are. This is what we're doing. This is the path that we charted. We're going to go down it, and that's fine"
Maybe if you re-read this, you'll get it.
The SEC very well could say, that's more than enough. We'll put this to a vote and if it passes, we'll make sure you're no longer in a conference that you evidently don't want to be a part of.
That's it. That's the whole gist right there.

balllguy's melt on this topic has been incredible.

He has yet to produce any evidence of a rule LSU has broken, refuses to acknowledge other schools actually breaking SEC rules, yet continues to find fancy ways of saying the SECs feelings are hurt.

His "smoking gun" is the Will Wade quote that was actually about roster construction, and had nothing to do about the SEC at all.
It's funny to watch he and the other headline readers double down on it though.

I have read quite a bit of your dribble on the SEC Rant. What a waste of my time.
LOL, your entire argument is a joke. You must be Sankey's warped conscience.
The SEC had NO reason to file a lawsuit against LSU, the LA AG and the LSU Board of Supervisors.
LSU has done NOTHING wrong; sure, they flirted with rostering some ex pros, but multiple SEC members did the same thing. READ.THE FACTS.
Did they roster any ineligible players? NO.
It's only the chancellors of a couple of SEC schools and the moronic behavior of a clueless SEC commissioner driving this idiocy.
Did you know Stankey even admitted under oath in court that he hadn't even read the 5 for 5 ruling? The guy is a vastly overpaid uninformed moron who is power hungry. He should lose his job immediately.
Sankey should have had private meetings with the LSU AD before embarrassing the entire conference with his stupid actions.
Take off your obviously biased glasses and try to be objective about it.

That's weird, just yesterday, you claimed they were suing LSU to get the right to do that very thing.
Why do you keep contradicting yourself?

Posting a picture of a corn dog is weak. Nobody cares about that.

Truly another dumb level of dumb. They could have voted a long time ago. And haven't, because they dont have the votes.
No school wants to pay that much money for LSU to go away. That you dont get this is wild.

All the legal wrangling is an attempt to cut off LSU from suing the SEC once the member schools vote to expel LSU.
This is actually smart although I’m not sure it will matter in the end. There will be too many parties negatively affected by LSU’s expulsion to completely cut off the threat of legal action against the conference.
Kudos for the effort though. I’m always amazed at what attorneys can talk folks into doing.

It will definitely be a mess if the SEC doesn't obtain protection, can't see the court giving them any.
