Seriously though, I wouldn't be worried just because it's college basketball. When was the last big penalty for a big name in college basketball? Even if everything LSU has been accused of is true, it's no worse than a dozen other programs in the last 2 years

Do people still believe that the NCAA actually needs or uses evidence to hammer a program?

It's literally in their own rules that they can't use anything from a criminal trial that was thrown out/never introduced. Hence the only things they can use are testimony from convicted felons in the trial. Y'all keep dreaming while LSU fricks over the SEC again.

On a side note, whatever they do to UofL could shape how hard they hit others. If they slam them even after they absolutely cleaned house in the AD all the way up to the AD then it can’t bode well for those who didn’t get rid of coaches/staff involved.

I have to ask, why do you always use such derogatory and baseless remarks? Is it a lack of vocabulary? Or do you honestly have hatred and vitriol towards the people of Louisiana because your favorite team, that you have absolutely no part of, plays a team from Louisiana?
Yes.

Just to remind the trolls, the trial included zero testimony about LSU. The only mention of LSU was a report published by the clowns at Yahoo Sports with a supposed leaked transcript of a tape.

Auburn fans should be more focused on their program's lack of institutional control. One more strike and we might get to see the death penalty again.

LSU could have saved themselves, but they chose not to, so the consequences will be severe.

Exactly. LSU isn't a big name in basketball, they're the perfect school to hammer and set an example of

When was the last strike against Auburn? I'm pretty sure strikes don't carry over for over a quarter century

Between this basketball scandal and the Catholics paying y'all's football players, looks like LSU is the one who needs to be worried about Lack or Institutional control

Well at least you’re honest.

It is an awful look though. I’m not even trying to be mean. It just looks bad for someone to use the rhetoric that you use. Especially when considering the topic and the lack of impact that you have on it, and that it has on you.

For LSU fans it's a mix of salty and bitter, for everybody else it's so so sweet

The only SEC team with a better basketball tradition than LSU is UK..... we have second most SEC championships ever. If you can't prove it, nothing happened.

Kansas is on a list of 7. You know the NCAA will exclude them before anyone else

If the NCAA wants to bring you down, they will find something. they will make it stick. they will investigate for 5 years or until they get what they want...Do not cooperate with those bastards, as Ole Miss did.

You take all this waaay too seriously, Hoss. If you're referring to the term "coonass", it seems that 1/3 of the LSU fans look upon it with fondness, 1/3 don't feel that they actually qualify for the term, and 1/3 take offense. As far as the topic is concerned, it's obviously one of the better "shite starters" at the present time, so when you see a new thread about it without specific updated information, only an idiot wouldn't recognize it as such. As far as my team participation is concerned, if you don't consider a "dues paying" alumnus as a qualifier, then you're correct. Finally, I've got NOTHING against the folks in Louisiana, but I do recognize the animosity that many of y'all on the board have against the state of Alabama and its institutions of higher learning, so I surely enjoy sticking the old knife in and twisting it just a tad!
I've seen a number of your "negative" posts about Alabama, and can't help but shake my head at your hypocritical comments about me, BUT at least I know it's having the desired effect on you.....and that's sweeeeet!

The proof is in the pudding. ESPN is already factoring the investigation into its 2020 rankings.

Serves Trendon Watford right. He decided to take the Cash now he is gonna be STUCK there. LOL

Not really. He's already cashed his strong arse offer and if LSU gets hit hard by the NCAA, he'll transfer and likely get a waiver for immediate eligibility elsewhere.
