People loved the head to head argument last year when it was Bama-Texas. What changed??

Before FSU ended up getting left out, some of the arguments were centered around which of Alabama or Texas would miss the CFP. It was pretty quickly shut down, though, because people were shocked that anyone would try to justify putting a team that lost the head to head in over the team that won.

Crazy what a difference a year makes. Now some of those same people are doing some fairly impressive mental gymnastics to justify putting USCe in over Alabama; not just on here, but even more so in the media.

Full disclosure, I like USCe and I wish we both could make the CFP, but I’ll say what I said last year, head to head matters, even when it hurt me to admit it in 2023.
