Honestly, cannot keep up with all these transfers. I used to be pumped about a recruit but this circus is difficult to keep up with.

Negative. They didn't think he was leaving. He actually got booed at graduation the day after he announced his transfer.

From everything I read he had not been named the starter up there yet and spring practice was closed with no spring game so the rumor mill was wide open. Not to say he wasn’t going to start, but it wasn’t a foregone conclusion.

That said he has a lot of potential. His freshman year he looked like he would be a 1st team B10 guy before he finished, but the regression last year was significant. I have to wonder if Tucker is losing the locker room up there because they lost a number of players and were garbage on the field last year.

In the games I saw their OL was poor and the offense was a total mess so at a certain point it’s hard to tell what’s on the QB and what’s on the supporting cast.

I suspect that with Freeze building his system around his talents and avoiding his weaknesses not only does he start at AU he ends up a top half SEC starter if they can block for him.

He’s head and shoulders better than Finley or Ashford IMO.

Numbers were worse than Jayden Daniels without the running threat.

Meh.

No. Graduated and entered the portal. He has implied that he is going to Ohio State, but anyone who has seen him play knows that has to be be bullshite.

As an Alabama fan with what is happening there I don't think these are waters you need to tread

He regressed last year but was dealing with an injury and also a horrible scheme once KW3 left for NFL. His play in 2021 was solid. He does have some arm talent but accuracy is a valid concern.

I really like the guy and he has good mental makeup. I wish him well. Sometimes a change of scenery is good.

Good assessment. I'd also add Jay Johnson is a dog shite OC. Montgomery is a good offensive mind to work with

That's nothing. I get booed every time I walk into a room. My wife usually leads the boos.

Auburn does not have a QB room. Ashford is NOT a QB. You better hope Thorne is your starter.
