I'm not really paying attention to what Pavia says. He may very well back it up and stomp our a$$ in the ground. Or he may very well run into a buzz saw and be eating through a straw after the game. Who knows? But a little trash talk toward Alabama is something Bama players need to hear. They need to keep thinking and knowing, nobody is scared of them anymore. They're going to have to go take it.

He’s got it completely backwards. If Alabama plays it’s game and doesn’t half arse around it won’t be close

I want him to keep talking. This Alabama teams needs a "boogey man" to stay locked in and focused. The ridicule after the FSU loss is what fueled the last three games. But with beating UGA in Athens, they need some new fuel and hopefully Pavia will keep pouring the gasoline on right up 'til kickoff. It can only help us.

I'm amused by the idea that Bama was not sufficiently motivated to avenge last year's loss but NOW they'll be motivated.

It is what it is man. I'm not playing the game, the 18-23 year olds of today's culture are. Athletes today are cut from a very different cloth than when I was their age they're very different than college players from previous eras. Talk to any high school or college coach (on any level in any sport) and they'll tell you. It's a very different breed of athlete today.

I hope Pavia says three to four more bulletin board things before kickoff. It can do nothing but help Bama. This coaching regime has struggled with putting focused teams on the field on a consistent basis. So, anything that can get the team focused I'm for, so Pavia my man, keep putting out the quotes!!! We love it!!!

shite Talking Tebow has the right to talk shite. Bama is going to have to prove they can shut him up on the field.

Yeah, that's one difference in today's athlete than other eras. These guys talk crap all the time whether they can back it up or not, are winning or not. I've literally seen showboating from players getting the hell kicked out of them on the field. But there they are show boating after a play and talking trash to the players on the team that kicking the hell out of them. Different breed, man.

Thing is Pavia can write those checks because he can back them up. I literally heard Manziel say the same shite in 2013 after he waltzed into BDS in 2012 and carved up Bama like a Thanksgiving turkey and damn if he didn’t almost do it again that year. And those 2 Bama D’s had some legit studs that are honestly better than what we currently have so until we shut him down, nothing can really be said.

Just hit him really hard

He was carrying the team last year and got banged-up after the Alabama game, which hurt their overall success.

But I think the team this year has been rebuilt and actually has a few legit dudes.

I know we like to hate on the Team Talent Composite, but just in terms of magnitude, Vanderbilt is ranked higher than Memphis, USF, and Virginia.

The real adversary for both Vandy and Alabama is Tennessee. Sure Pavia is talking smack, and Alabama has never done that? Vandy is just having a little fun. But we owe our existence to an Alabama woman from Mobile. So it’s nothing personal. Tennessee, however, talks real trash directed at our 2 schools. Keep that in focus.

LSU beat him last year, but got spanked by a bad Alabama team. I think Bama rolls, but hope I’m wrong.
