Were we all born with a name?. So he is going to spit on his name and wipe it real good to get a great shine? Arky fans love to leave in the pseudo real world..

and my point was that Bobby's fingerprints are still all over this offense, and we aren't going to see a dramatic drop-off simply b/c he won't be calling the plays. Fast-forward a year or two and yes, then we will probably see the negative effects of no longer having Bobby here to develop the players and run the offense.

Yeah. The play calling MIGHT not be as good but its not like the players are going to forget what bobby taught them over the summer...he wasnt out there making the throws for them last season

every year arky fans keep saying the arky team is going to beat the tide...It will eventually happen and you rantards will be the first to come on here and brag about how you predicted it. Even a blind squirrel finds an acorn......you know how that finishes right?

Yeah, for the past 3 off-seasons I've been predicting Paul Petrino will make a name for himself.

The Illini offense was awful, I mean Penn State awful last year, but good luck nonetheless

Didn't realize Paul brought Illinois' offense with him.

We covered this in the other thread already. Schelhaase couldn't convert a pass with any consistency further than 10 yards down the field. Once teams adjusted to the read option it was game over for that team.

Parts of every game actually. I'm an unabashed Paul Petrino homer though.

You're not going to change my opinion though. Scheelhaase is not a good QB for his system. Their offense looked nothing like our offense because they had to tailor it to Scheelhaase's strengths.

Yes, and Paul is his brother. It's been scientifically proven that good coaching abilities can be passed down from father to son (See: deoxyribocoachneic acid, DCA for short). And since they're brothers and all..

Your argument is invalid. Science boom.
