sorry, Knoxville is boring as shite if you’re over the age of 23 unless you love Chilis, Ruby Tuesday, and townies. shite, they don’t even sell beer in your biggest concert venue. What kind of bush league nonsense is that?

Makes sense
I'm 33 and I honestly couldn't tell you the last time tennessee athletics were good

I've been back as of a couple years ago. Strip certainly has changed and so has the campus. If you get about 2-3 miles away from campus, hasn't changed much at all in 15+ years. Still boring unless you're a college student or townie. Only someone from Knoxville or a UT fan would think Knoxville is awesome. It's only awesome for old people and townies who don't know any better. Although I do laugh at my fellow LSU fans who love going to Calhouns because of their BBQ, fricking gross

Knoxville is an awesome little city. I have a blast every time I go there. Real fun in the spring and summer

Let's see,I'm a young single guy making $600,000 a year.
Let's see,how bout I buy a mini van.
Good grief,I'd drive what the frick I wanted.
To criticize this guy for living the life while young is stupid.

Yeah if you can’t find anything to do in Knoxville, I think there are other issues at play

You have to drive 45 minutes to find stuff to do in Knoxville. When people say they love Knoxville, they mean the mountains outside of Knoxville. And no one is trying to make that drive with any sort of regularity unless other issues are at play.

your idea of “stuff to do” is apparently Gatlinburg, which I think tells us all we need to know. I’ve never felt like I couldn’t find something to do in Knoxville. Once Randy Boyd gets that downtown Smokies stadium built, it might become Tennessee’s IT city.
Maybe you prefer a night out at Honky Tonk Central or Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville, to each their own
