You seem to really enjoy having him as a coach, glad you can agree with the OP

If we wanted him...rest assured we'd get him.....and Serra-blo would be on his knees trying to keep him in Knoxville.

Vitello strikes me as someone who enjoys living in a nice city (Knoxville, Fayetteville, etc).

I can’t see him driving around his Maserati down in the slums you call home

meh, we'll see come the middle of June. If LSU is still playing, then great, if not, might be time for him to go.

BTW, I'll be patiently awaiting where you're getting your "elite recruiting class" information from as it pertains to Tennessee. They weren't in the top 25 for the current freshman class and are barely top 25 for this coming year's class. Congrats on being in the bottom third of the SEC. Those high schools kids must have watched all of your February games

He can't afford a Maserati with his salary.

You obviously have never visited Knoxville.

Then again, you have prolly never ventured far outside your trailer park.

Think it would be more accurate to say he's never left Knoxville

what a nouveau riche thing to do. Can't say I'm surprised Tennessee would hire such a fiscally irresponsible coach. He fits in perfectly with the rest of the University

This is like the 5th LSU baseball thread from Tenn fans since yesterday

I'm not sure who or what broke them

Lol he’s a 40 something year old bachelor with a downtown apartment, what else is he going spend his $600k salary on

most people on here are probably too young to know, but it's no secret that Tennessee fans are the most obnoxious people on earth when they're remotely good at anything. Most UT fans would admit it freely if they were honest. God forbid they ever figure out how to win football games again.

Maybe invest it in something that is an appreciable asset. Tennessee head baseball coach isn't exactly the most stable of jobs on the market.

Lol he has the job for life as long as he maintains the status quo (and he appears to be improving on it), no clue where you got the idea that the job isn’t stable

The only way VOLS have a new baseball coach at any point in the future is if he gets poached by Arkansas, which at that point he’ll have ~7 figure salary
