Was there ever any doubt?

Julio was out of bounds touching the ball.

Better LSU DB: Derek Stingley Jr. or Patrick Peterson?

He didn’t have possession until he was out of bounds.
Also it was at LSUs 30 yard line. ZERO chance they drive 70 yards down the field for a TD on our defense

Trick question, neither of them are good.

It wouldn’t have made any difference if he intercepted. LSU had three first downs the entire second half. To win the game, they would have to sucessufully drive the ball forty yards, then keep Alabama scoreless the rest of the game.
Either of those things was almost statistically impossible. But it is fun to see LSUers work themselves up. They have somehow convinced themselves they would have won a game that they were totally and statistically outmatched in.. if only..
If only... Yelden dropped the screen, so and so had not fumbled. If only the OL hadn’t been called for holding, if honey badger had played damn the LSU drug enforcement rules (he did..idiots), if if if .... if only they had made a field goal it would have been 29-3.
Funny how LSU “if only...” only works in one direction....“If only LSU had... and AlaBama hadn’t.” Never the other way

Bama cheats, what's new.
This is so typical of Louisiana. Down here no one ever gets ahead and wins by hard work, better organization, more dedication, self discipline, superior planning. Nope, you get ahead only by either getting lucky (Dey just hit oil on paw paw’s 40 AC of swamp) or by crooked dealing, or cheating.
That belief is sad but it is widely held down here... and the Boudreauxs honestly believe it... and at least in Louisiana, there may be some truth to it...

Saban admitted the other day that he wasn’t. Game over

Of all the things bama fans need to worry about it’s a play that went their way
Must be sad they needed a covid season to feel better about themselves because saban convinced the team not to opt out and played Moses hurt because his legacy was at play
