Also, the same argument could be used for the game in 2007. It took a fumble inside our own 5 yard line for LSU to win that ballgame - against the least talented team Bama has had since 1970 or so (not a single player drafted), and a Bama team that lost to ULM. LSU fans sure had fun with that and proclaimed Miles to be better than Saban.

i thought it was pretty well known that saban outcoached miles in that game

at least every single bama fan pointed that out to me

That is quite seriously the most idiotic post I have ever read on this board.

Losing to Bama is a bitter pill to swallow. This is all you've got left.

You are painfully stupid. I suggest you google search muscle cramps and try to discern why they occur. I'm sure that will be too much for your ridiculously small brain though.

Here you go, smart guy.

quote:

Those at greatest risk for cramps and other ailments related to excess heat include infants and young children, people over age 65, and those who are ill, overweight, overexert during work or exercise, or take drugs or certain medications.

Muscle cramps are very common among endurance athletes (i.e., marathon runners and triathletes) and older people who perform strenuous physical activities.

* Athletes are more likely to get cramps in the preseason when the body is not conditioned and therefore more subject to fatigue. Cramps often develop near the end of intense or prolonged exercise, or 4-6 hours later.

quote:

When your body is poorly conditioned, you are more likely to experience muscle fatigue, which can alter spinal neural reflex activity. Overexertion depletes a muscle's oxygen supply, leading to build up of waste product and spasm.

Tell me how many other times he's gone out of the game with craps.

Fwiw jj is not that great and pp showed everyone this.

bull he is a great receiver who met the only corner outside of a very few that can cover him man to man. No need in tearing him down he is a great player and when he gets better coaching at the wr position we will finally see what he is capable of.

What I saw was PP over exert himself doing a fine job in a mammoth effort to cover Julio all night. In the process, he got cramps and let his team down when they needed him most in the 4th quarter. He had a very fine 3 quarters of play though.

Just to set the record straight, PP had the flu all week and still played extremely well. I do believe the flu leaves you dehydrated, which would cause cramps.

Awesome, the 2009 flu excuse. I think that's all 12 teams now.

I don't know how I missed this one but glad I saw it. Look at the stats, look at the score you got drilled anyway you look at it. Ya'll said the same thing last year also but somehow NMFS keeps beating him.

Yeah, because he's not one of the country's best corners and wasn't the No.1 corner coming out a few years ago from HS, right?

"let his team down?" By being injured? Dude you are a complete assclown. Stop making everyone on this board less intelligent by posting.

PP is a complete beast. Look forward to him shutting down Julio next year as well! Hopefully he'll go to the NFL draft a victor over the rowtahds!

i have no idea if this is true or not so whatever, but i've heard a few people say PP was experiencing flu-like symptoms early in the week and throughout the week

A rational post at last.

Julio is a great wideout, good luck to him the rest of the year

Cramps are not an injury. Cramps are a result of over exertion or not being able to keep up with guy you are trying to stop.
Great player, just couldn't quite make the 60 minutes.

the same thing happened in 07 and saban outcoached miles

granted the talent levels are much closer now, but we were on the road playing without 3 of our most important players for much of the game

And Bama was without their best LB and receiver.

so why when saban keeps a game close with a lesser bama team he outcoaches miles, but the same isn't said when miles keeps a game close with a lesser lsu team?
