Pat Forde doesn't know what he's talking about. Alabama isn't in decline. That's ludicrous. NOBODY is putting a secondary on the field that can lock down spread offenses ANYWHERE. To do so requires having 4-5 guys back there that can all cover 1 on 1 and tackle in space at a high level. Nobody has that.
