I believe you could say that for both of us. I'm sure there are points where you are not a homer, but it's not often, and I'm sure you see yourself much differently than the rest of the board does.

Even if everything were as nefarious as you want to believe, their interests are not in conflict. There may be some ethical questions, but I don't see a conflict of interest.

Doesn't everyone? In any case, I'm not worried about what anyone thinks of me here, never have, save one and I've said that before. I don't expect I'll ever meet or know anyone here on a personal note. And while there is alot of banter, I also realize most folks are antagonistic on this board whereas in real life they're probably decent folks. Save for a few, I think, I know they're the same irl.

I'd say the ethical part is drinking with high schoolers. I'd say the conflict of interest is being paid by the athletic dept when they have contact with the recruits as hostesses, with the alumni association and with the coaches. Especially when the coaches are under investigation and have even had to be pulled from recruiting up to a month for violation of NCAA rules.
