The Pac-10 is not a weak conference. I am going to say something here that I hope someone on your board doesn't see me writing.

The SEC is the best conference in college football. They are the conference most other conferences would like to be.

This being said, I do think the Big 12 this year is the second best conference in football.

When you get down to third and fourth, it gets a bit tricky, Pac 10 or big 10. At this point, you are talking about the third and fourth best conference, so who really cares?

As far as the worst conference in the BCS, well that likewise is a difficult question to answer. BE or ACC? I gotta say the BE is the worst, but maybe that is because I hate the BE so much.

So my conference rankings would be

1. SEC
2. Big 12
3. Who cares?
4. Who cares?
5. ACC (don't worry, you are not the worst)
6. BE

And as far as best team in the country goes, I am sorry, but I get sucked up every year in the immense talent that USC has and have to give it to them.

But USC often times is a paper tiger, and we all know where the real tiger is! Aubur..... I mean Clem.... Oh come on, its LSU

That's pretty rantarded. Not only is there another BCS school IN THE SAME CITY, there are THREE other BCS, In-Conference opponents in the same state. ASU and UA are an easy day's drive as well.

PAC isn't weak at all... they are looking pretty good so far this year (granted it's like 1 or 2 games played per team so far)

I don't see it if someone argues the pac is any worse than the third best conference in college football... and depending on how things shake out they could certainly be better

I'm with you so far...

Whoa! That would be a significant upset, IMO.

I'd agree on these except for Arizona over South Carolina. The Cocks would take 'em.

Where are the board police when you need them? What is the fascination with the PAC-10?

FOUR BCS and Conference opponents in the same state

UCLA

There are other FCS teams in California, but not BCS teams. Fresno State, San Diego State and San Jose State bring the total number of FCS teams in California (including USC) to seven, right? In a state of, what, 35 million people? Louisiana has five in a state of four million. It should be easy to see why some of us view USC as having little or no competition.

Oops, part of my message was erased. I meant 4 total BCS schools (including USC) and 3 BCS in-conference opponents. Don't know what happened there, my bad.

But if you take out all the illegal immigrants, that number is more like 20 mill.

I fixed my previous post. Good lookin' out.

i would love to see how badly they do compared to their cupcake conference.

Yet the teams they play on that "cupcake" schedule keeps beating up on the SEC like a red-headed step-child.

And teams from the "other nine" beat up on SEC opponents more often than not this decade.

you're nuts if you think Washington would beat bama. I want bama to fail as much as the next LSU fan...but that's just nuts.

Year in and Year out the PAC-10 would get my vote as being the second weakest BCS conference behind the Big East.

I wonder what they says about the SEC? Because this second weakest conference poiunds the much more than half the time as of late.

Last 18 games...this century. Most here know the record and offer no rational excuses.

Florida over Southern Cal
Georgia over Oregon
LSU over Arizona St.
Washington over Alabama Seriously?
Auburn over California
Arizona over S. Carolina Right!
Oregon St. over Vanderbilt Toss Up
Stanford over Mississippi St.
UCLA over Arkansas
Mississippi over Washington St.

Not sure where this list came from but if 0-2 Washington soon to be 0-3 Washington is the 4th best team in the PAC 10, then the PAC 10 really sucks.

Think it's 10-6 in the last 16 but not that much different from what you posted. Shocker to many SEC fans though, I'd bet.

There have been 16 games this century and yes the record is 10-6 in favor of the PAC but they have not been poundings as you put it other than by USC, the poundings have been by the SEC in their wins, but then again your terminalogy of a blowout win is if the score is at least 7 pts...
