Being completely honest i think Alabama has one of the smartest fanbases in the nation. Call me stupid but i bet if every fanbase took an iq test Alabama would finish 2nd behind Harvard. Once aqain this might not true but i'd be willing to bet money it is.

The dumbest fans in any state tend to migrate toward the school whose name begins "The University of......." That way it's easier for them to remember both where they live and who they "go for".

This. State teams are always the bigger programs and with that they get all of the trash fans with it. It is just because Bama has 4 to 1 the amount of fans Auburn does so you get stuck with the majority of tards. It is the same way with OU, UT, UF, UGA ect.

You're fricking stupid man i'm dead serious. I truly think Alabama fans are at least top 3 smartest in the nation. Harvard probably has us beat but i honestly believe we could handle Yale. You guys think i'm playing but i promise to God i'm not.

I think Kentucky has a fairly intelligent fanbase. Unless you count the fringe lunatics. That horrible vocal minority.

Where did you go to college? Because surely you understand that Vandy, Stanford, Duke all would destroy Bama in this.

This. I'm afraid we take the cake in this battle. All fans seem to have their sect of fans that are embarassing. I really think our fanbase is bigger than most, therefore our sect of embarassing fans is also bigger. If you put it all in proportion, I don't think we're that bad. Maybe??

The state of Alabama is not exactly the brightest. The Universities themselves are great (Auburn & Bama are top 50 public universities) but the general population, which are mostly Bammers, are not that intelligent.

I gotta say the quantity of the dumb Bama fans really stand out more than any other school. Sure, all fanbases have the fair share, but it seems the Bama ones REALLY make their presence known.

By default. I go to vanderbilt and nobody gives a shite. A few do for basketball and there is about a 50/50 split on whether people think Vandy will make the NCAA tourney.
