What other two teams do you see from the SEC making a name for themselves in baseball? I can say Arky has a great argument as they were a routine pop fly away from winning it all. Other than that maybe Ole miss/miss state?

I guess we're just going to ignore the two CWS titles won by South Carolina?

Ole Miss for sure this year and probably Arkansas or maybe Bama. Need to see what Bama is gonna do vs the SEC though.

Ole Miss, State, Arkansas are all stacked this year. Tennessee, Alabama and Auburn are really good as well. Carolina has already made a name for themselves.

I am sure I left someone out. SEC will be strong this season.

Guess we will also ignore how they went 8-22 in SEC play in 2019 (our last real baseball season). I’m looking for two teams with consistency. Props to SC though for the back to back great seasons.

Ole Miss has to make the CWS more than once in our lifetime before they make a name for themselves in baseball.

USC is in that group with their NCs. I’d also put Arky and State in the group based on number of CWS appearances, fan support, and championship game appearances. Crazy to think Vandy has only been to 4 CWS, while State and Arky have 11 and 10 appearances respectively. Just goes to show how hard it is to win it all. Some teams get the bounce, others have been looking for it for decades. That’s baseball.

Georgia has one national title and probably should have had a second in 2008.

I thought we might have had a shot at winning it all last season before COVID. We had 2 top picks at the front of the rotation. Not sure we could hit enough.

Tennessee was primed last year and then Covid hit. If super liberal mayor of Knoxville allows Ill be at most home games.

I’m a little shocked bama fell off so much from the Jim wells era
They nearly caught up to LSU in late 90’s

I think miss st with their new facilities should be able to finally win a title
