Taken as a singular situation we don't, but we've seen hospitalizations surge to the point where unnecessary death occurred. That is the reason for the caution. I don't know when things will normalize but they will and this will just be a normal respiratory virus. The data is clear it isn't that now. I am hopeful it will be after this wave but I don't blame institutions and entities for being cautious based on the past surges of Spring/Summer 2020, Winter 2021 and Summer/Early Fall 2021.

So, according to you, we have all had Mumps, Measles, Rubella, Polio etc., just with minimal symptoms that didn’t require hospitalization. Interesting take.

An actual take. If you took those vaccines - as did I - your body was exposed to every one of those diseases. And you survived - because your body was trained on how to fight them, using a milder blueprint.

That vaccine - an actual vaccine - was the equivalent of Bill Belichick watching the Jets practice film. A scrimmage, if you will, for your own immune system.

Again - shite that used to be taught in high school health - back in the day.

I have no idea what this is a response to, but I do find it interesting that this response is accusing another person of being a moron. #ironic

That is truly a more puzzling question than how viruses and vaccines work.

From the Omicron ? Two. Supposedly two deaths.

Do you understand that between 50K and 100K people, just in America, died from the flu EVERY YEAR before the 'Rona ? That's how it works.

Now tell me - if 900K extra people died from the flu in the last couple years - why don't we notice ? 400K died, in total, during WWII. The papers didn't have to tell everyone - it was obvious.

Pandemic amongst the super spreader shot takers.

Those who got vaccinated are spreading it the worst.

It sucks that he died but to say he was some high level in shape athlete just because he played baseball is false. Look at his picture. You can tell he is obese and is not some bastion physical fitness.

I literally just suggested that I believe this will be the turning point, but I don't blame them for being cautious based on the past surges.

Your stats are incorrect concerning flu. I do know where you got them. COVID killed more people than any flu we've seen in history. It ain't rocket science. FYI we chose to go to war or at least had to go to war I don't see the correlation to poor choice causing a challenging viral pandemic to be worse.

This generation? Likely not. The generation when those vaccines were introduced? 110% yes

Yes people “got polio” and “got measles” during the period of innoculation post vaccination. Of course they did, those vaccines aren’t forcefields like you are making them out to be

And guess what? When those people had no symptoms on a Tuesday or had a mild sniffle, guess what they did? Nothing. Nothing at all. If people did that with covid it would all but disappear as well

Not once in history of man did people give a shite if a “test” told them they were sick or not. They cared about how they felt. Until covid came along where what a piece of paper says matters more than anything else

Here you go, Skippy. And Magazine Article

There are more, if you are willing to look for them. Because it does buck the narrative of whatever kool-aide you have been drinking.

Let me break this down for you as simply as I can. I have no doubt - none - that 900K people died WITH Covid. Including blunt force trauma. Including during chemo. And on and on. We've seen the anecdotal evidence - and all real life evidence is anecdotal.

We've seen the CDC - by their own admission - state that over 90% of Covid deaths involve two or more contributing factors.

So understand this - I'll die with a mediocre penis. It's middling at best. But I won't die BECAUSE of an average penis.

No more than I'll die with whatever trace of Covid they can find in my dead tissues.

I’m feeling better today and hopefully on the sunny side. It’s nowhere near some of the horror stories I heard on the original coronavirus, but it kicked my arse Sunday night Monday and Tuesday[/quote]

Thanks Tailback for the info - hope you make a full recovery soon.

Good to hear. The Corona is going endemic ... that's a good thing. The damn flu is endemic.

Life is hard for a virus, in all honesty. You've got to hop from person to person, fast enough to stay alive, and not so strong as to kill 'em. A virus is kind of like a single cell vampire.

Get too strong - like the Spanish Flu - and you burn through the host too quick. The Spanish Flu burned itself out. It was not a successful virus.

The Flue is highly successful. Pisses you off - but not so much that you Lysol the entire house.
