No the correlation between older and sicker people getting the virus and dying in the first wave and now only leaving healthier hosts so no need for hospital is the better correlation

I must have missed the number you must have quoted. But I don't see where any number is relevant other than the number 0 (zero). As in "Zero people have been protected from a Delta or Omicron infection by these mRNA vaccines". It keeps ZERO people that are infected from transmitting it to others. THAT is a fact, Skippy.

I know, common sense is hard.

I'm not anti-vax. It is just that it is being presented to people as being the cure for this pandemic. And it just isn't the case by any measure. And every time some story comes out that presents that argument, it is met with "Muh vaccine!! Muh jab!!! Muh 5 boosters! Muh it is working because person X didn't have any symptoms." Well what about the people that were triple vaxed an DIED? They thought they were safe. Why, because some fricks like you are telling them they will be. And nothing can be further from the truth!

So be honest about this shite. Because it does matter. The Alpha variant killed my step dad. And the Delta killed a good friend of mine. My step dad knew he was low hanging fruit for the virus because of his rheumatoid arthritis treatments. But my friend was fully vaccinated. So you covidian fricks that say you are protected because of this so called vaccine, you are just plain WRONG.

Look, a virus is gonna virus. And there have been plenty of people explaining about viruses things that come from the animal kingdom. Meaning that they have animal hosts that can keep spreading the virus into the human population. The ONLY way out of this is by herd immunity (from real infections and recoveries) and the day when the virus mutates itself out of the human kingdom. And it will. Just like ever Corona virus before it has. Read up on them. There are plenty of articles on the CDC website about SARS-COV1 and MERS that explain this quite nicely. Corona viruses are hit and run viruses. Otherwise, we would still have SARS-COV1 and MERS to deal with.

You know what does work? Social distancing and good hygiene practices. Yep. That works a treat. Wear a mask if it makes you feel better but by all means stay 6 feet away from that triple vaxed person that is sneezing in the line you are in.

Exactly. It's a logical fallacy (base rate fallacy) for someone to infer what title of this post is saying.

Seatbelts are a good example of this. If 90% of people wear seatbelts, then the total number of deaths comes down, but a large portion of the deaths that do occur will be wearing a seatbelt.
