Used to watch that Friday after Thanksgiving game religiously and loved it. Never dreamed UT had another rival other than those delicious Red Raiders.

BTW, practically every tsip tradition and song is based around A&M from "Texas Fight" to Bevo to being Longhorns instead of Varsity to the Hex Rally and on and on. Sips absolutely lose their minds when the lost to A&M, they get over losing to OU by the next day.
I do find it hilarious how sips always try to act as though A&M isn't worthy of being your rival because you hate us so damn much and can't stand the idea of A&M being better than you are. It completely messes with your worldview. No matter how big and powerful and strong A&M you must feel superior, it's your entire worldview. Then most of you end up sending your sons to A&M because you don't want them to chop their dicks off and come back home wearing a dress.

Facts. And the horns are big pratts for this. I actually find this a normal thing for grown men that are forced to wear orange shirts. Changes a man.

This is dumb. Of course OU is Texas biggest rival. Bet then next is Arkansas. Though A&M is a close 3rd.

The ou tex rivalry reminds me a lot of duke/unc. Unc likes to tell ppl duke is their main rival bc of the branding of the game. But at the end of the day they hate nc state more than anyone. They’d rather duke win four more titles than nc state win one more.

This is an excellent analogy. You can’t call someone your main rival if you root for them when they are playing some other team. That’s not logical.

There’s no such thing as a “real” rivalry. But I can see why you’d think the opposite, because you only have one rival, who doesn’t view you as their main rival.
