OU this year is in the situation Florida was in last year. A lot of young talent with 1 dependable ace.
Unfortunately this year, Florida has not had the luck with the injuries, in both softball and baseball.
As good as Florida has looked this weekend, with Rothrock looking very inconsistent since coming back, I still say this team is ripe for a regional upset.
Florida's offenses always seem to get shut down in the postseason.

Good game Florida yall needed it more and it showed. OU already wrapped up the 1 seed so not much to play for. Hope we meet on a neutral field in the tourny!

What’s with the essay for softball. Lots of good teams in softball in the SEC. Good grief top 5 or 6 teams can beat each other any given game. That’s all any on softball fan needs to know.

Gg UF you played great at home . I will say of course UF still lost the sec by 5 games to OU and of course OU still has not lost to uf when it matters ever …. Even last years World Series game it was a throw away game just like the last two games …. That’s what happens when you play championship ball for the whole season. I knew some of you UF fans would be happy for the win . Let’s not get carried away . Landry walked more batters this week than the whole year combined I think . Umpires were really bad all series for strike zones and you guys know until you beat OU in the World Series you can’t really beat your chest . Good win for the gators they deserved to win . To many errors , walks and OUs give a shite never kicked in till it was to late the last two games . OU hasn’t had a number two pitcher all year but when it matters they delivered . OU is a different animal in the postseason .
Your center fielder single handily beat OU. She is a great player reminds me of Jayda Coleman . You can’t take anything away from how the Gators played defensively lights out all series . OU looked like a monkey fricking a football . Gg
Colombo I will post here if you beat us in World Series . Your team is talented and older but OU fairs pretty well when they have seen a team to many time. Coaching staff is the best in the game .

If OU won’t be there how can any other school say then will for sure be there all we can go by is who we played so far .
OU went 15-6 vs top 25 sec teams . . OU played every single of the top 8 teams in the sec minus A@M . Not every school can say that . Some schools got very easy sec schedules and still couldn’t do what OU did with freshman . Somehow UF lost 13 games We didn’t need to win today and there a difference . UF needed to win for seeding .

UF was 3 outs away from sending OU home last year winning B2B elimination games.
And that was with Rothrock literally pitching every game as a freshman.
