I don't know. "We'll put a boot in your arse" would fire up a crowd I'd think. Maybe they could just focus on that part of the tune.

I don't think it's any more/less weird than literally every sporting event in America starting with the National Anthem. We're just adding a second patriotic song to our game, but ours was written by a former player and massive supporter of the program who just recently passed. No one around here sees anything wrong with this becoming a tradition for 6 home games a year. It's not one-sided arrogant or cocky. Everyone in the stadium sings during this time to include visiting fans.

I don't live in Oklahoma. I would consider that a plus. I also don't live in Austin. Another plus.
