I hope Texas gets the shittiest home schedule ever in 2024
It would be tough to beat their home schedule this year:
Rice
Wyoming
Kansas
BYU
KSU
TTU

And I think OU is confident in our ability to make the playoffs every so often once it expands to 12, assuming the sec gets 3-4 teams in regularly. Im sure most SEC fans feel that way, and have a reason too. And in the long run, making the playoffs is what matters now.
You guys are the Clemson of the Big 12, literally, a one-man band. Getting to the playoffs just ain't that hard. Man, it's gonna get hard in the SEC, like busting concrete with a hammer hard from here on out.

Is this real?
That's not worth the garage pass let alone season ticket prices

Our home schedule sucks, we know that. Part of the reason we're making the move to begin with.

Under the current format? Sure it's hard. But nobody knows how it will be with 12 teams. I'd assume the top 3 SEC teams make it on a regular basis, and I'm confident in OU's ability to make it to the top 3 of the SEC from time to time. I think we will see at least 6 new sec schools who haven't made the playoffs before making it in the next decade. Now winning the title? That's a whole different story.

I did not realize that. Thanks for clearing that up.
Not only that the $50M is split over 2024 and 2025 AND its not being paid, it is being taken out of future revenue. Also both schools receive a partial SEC revenue in 2024 and full in 2025. The projected SEC revenue in 2025, even subtracting the $25M would eclipse what their B12 revenue would have been. Good deal if you ask me, they negotiated well.

Are you knocking that schedule? BYU has a much more recent national title than aggie. KSU just won a major conference title. aggie hasn't won a conference title since the Clinton administration.

t doesn't directly, but Georgia fans are out in front clowning on us as if you're an Alabama or an LSU or an Arkansas or one of those other teams that got the job done where you failed. I'm just reminding you that of all fanbases who can talk down to us, you're not among them.
Lot of mileage out of a 7pt win in a WGAS game against a team with half their starters opted out. With a coach you subsequently fired for sucking like the coach before him and the coach after him.
Texas and UGA have played one meaningful game in their history and the horns lost it in their home state and cost themselves the NC

Should we save paper and split the check 5 ways and send it to Texas Tech, Alabama, TCU, Oklahoma ST, and Washington since you’re their timeshare bish?

If you want to dickride all those teams that were able to do what you couldn't then you go right on ahead.

65-7 to the team that beat you in Austin? Yeah that was nice. Doesn’t that make Texas our grand bish?
