People want to know how coaches get these ridiculous buyouts, well here you go. Any coach that has had a good season only needs to have their names floated and the administrators will fall all over themselves to keep them and then want to re-negotiate the buyout terms 2 years later.

Yeah because our ONLY choices were Cristobal or Steele. How do some of you even feed yourselves and breathe on your own?

He didn’t sign the extension AFTER MSU contacted him about the position.

Cristobal will be the HC at Oregon next year. Auburn got him his raise

So what? He proved he's a pussy who is scared of competition. There are other coaches out there not named Steele.

I'm not sure why the Auburn folks were so certain on Christobal. He has a lock on the PAC-10, and is financed by Nike ... He's probably going to win this weekend, and destroy USC's season in the process

He has a top 6 recruiting class too.

It's not like he could recruit better at Auburn than at Oregon.

Right, it never made any sense that he would leave Oregon for Auburn.

None at all
