Interesting tidbit posted on 247:

-- Auburn has played the eventual national champion 9 times in 12 seasons. That's an amazing stat when you think about it. The Tigers beat Florida in 2006, lost 30-24 to LSU on a last-second touchdown pass in 2007. lost 26-21 to Alabama in 2009, won the national championship in 2010, lost 42-14 to Alabama in 2011, lost 49-0 to Alabama in 2012, lost in the BSC NCG to FSU in 2013, lost 29-13 to Alabama in 2015, lost 19-13 to Clemson in 2016 and beat Alabama 26-14 in 2017.

The only thing that really makes this different than LSU/many SEC West teams is that regular season match-up against Clemson in 2016.

I can't tell you how it felt for my team to win it all. It's one of those things you have to experience for yourself. Perhaps you can ask your grandfather about it.

I actually saw it myself when we won the title. It's pretty sad. UGA hasn't won a title since then. But still have the same number as titles in the span. Uga also has done more as a program.

Alabama hasn't played in a meaningless regular season game (without NC implications) since 2010.
2010. Received their 2nd loss of the year at LSU. All games after that did not have NC implications.
2011. Obviously every game because we won it.
2012. See above
2013. Lost to AU last game of year. Just like AU, if Alabama had won it would been in the NC game V FSU (sorry Mizzou, its true)
2014. Lost to OSU in the playoff.
2015. Won it
2016. Lost to Clemson in the NCG
2017. Won it.

Calling BS here. I've read your posts. Zero chance you are more than 12 years old. And if by some miracle you are, that fact that that you add nothing but shitposting and juvenile name-calling makes me so very happy that you are a Georgia fan.

So that begs the question, what is your record against the eventual champs over the last 12 years?

Also, this is not surprising when you play Bama every season.

Scores are in the op. 2-7 with wins against UF in 2006 and bama in 2017.
