The Sadvocate never confirmed shite, they simply repeated the McMurphy report that had come from Looch originally.

And they aren't an "LSU newspaper."

If anyone can read that, complete with multiple major college journalists citations, while understanding the situation at the time Abs the relationship between Woodward and Fisher, and conclude that the reports were all false, then they are fricking deluded children. You don't seem to be able to understand what actually happened so I will try to help.

There were definitely phone calls to Jimbo as well as multiple other coaches to gauge interest in the job.

Jimbo was not interested, things never went any further than that.

He was never offered the job (something you claimed but literally no reporter has ever confirmed, even Looch). The "prepared to offer" storyline with contract numbers was solely reported by Looch and then piggybacked by McMurphy. No one else independently reported that information except Looch.

Looch later reported incorrect salary numbers for Brian Kelly and retracted it when the contract details were actually released.

Either Looch is outright lying or is being fed bad information.
