Only 2 active head coaches have beaten Nick Saban three times.

Very impressive stat for the above and Saban.

Watson Brown has more wins over Saban than a lot of coaches, including Jimbo and Kirby

2 of the last 3. Gus is figuring out Saban’s gimmicks

Clempson would argue that Dabo should be included for two wins as a consolation prize

Is this supposed to mean something to me? I am a realist and understand you can’t win them all. Cheers!

You will lose again in the CFP again this year but this time you won't make it past the first game. Ohio St will advance to play an LSU or Bame for all the marbles Cubby

Gus beat an incomplete Bama team in both of the last two Auburn wins. Last year, he coached against the least experienced defense and DC under Saban. In 2017, he coached against a one-dimensional offense that would’ve cost Bama the national championship had it not been for Tua. Is Gus a great offensive strategist? Yes, but there really aren’t any “gimmicks” to figure out in these two Auburn wins. Not to mention the bad FG call.

And you think Auburn was a complete team
This truly is a pitiful excuse

Nick beat an incomplete Auburn team in 2015 and 2016. Those arguments work both ways.

I was replying to the statement that Gus had figured Saban’s “gimmicks”. There wasn’t anything to figure out with last year’s defense especially. Spin it how you like it though.
