agreed, but some reason i feel this is our best chance do it since 2017. The fact that Bo Nix went to DV and lost by 3 to the best team ever, gives me peace.

I was mostly kidding, but there was a poor weather factor to that game that limited LSU just as much as Auburn's defense.

I think LSU's defensive line will finish as the most effective in the west.

Alabama's offense is obviously starting from scratch minus half the OL, Metchie and Billinglsey.

The defense is loaded with experienced guys on the 1st and even 2nd units. Alabama returns 80% of tackles, 83% of QB pressures, 75% of TFL and 74% of coverage snaps from a unit that finished #2 in the SEC. They add To'To'o and 4 top 50 signees. Should be a stingy group.

Not sure what to make of this particular shite-list.

Georgia only lost 1 reciever (injury, he actually is returning but is questionable on playing).

All the contributing backs return. all the other contributing receivers and tight ends return. QB returns.

There's some funky methodology going on with this shite-list.

Does this mean Bama will not be ranked #1 at some point this season? We had a great run and it was fun while it lasted /s

Georgia is tops in the SEC in returning offense and bottom in the SEC in returning defense.

These things are never quite as bad as they appear on paper, but I'm still really curious to see what BOB does with the younger guys.

That defense might need to step up early while the offense finds its footing a bit. (This is your time to shine, Pete!)

I think having Neal, Owens and Ekiyor back is pretty big for a group losing the rest. If we were also starting from scratch on the OL I'd pretty a lot more concerned. A LT, C and G you trust make it a lot easier to throw one of the elite 5-star tackles out at RT (Brock or Latham) and then pick your best "next inside guy" at the other G (of which we have a lot of talented options - Cohen, Brown, Dalcourt, George, Quick, etc).

We lost a shite QB. We won’t be good or even mediocre, but we won’t be the worst team in the SEC.

I think this is the first time in about 4 or 5 years where Alabama wasn't ranked like dead last in this category.

From what I recall of earlier in the Spring, Tommy Brockermeyer was getting his arse handed to him, but hopefully he’ll learn (and continue to mature physically). I'm wondering if Javion Cohen gets the initial nod here.

Damieon George and Tommy Brown are massive human beings. Like them a lot. Curious why we haven't seen more of Pierce Quick, but I have a feeling he's had injury issues.

I'm sure they'll find the right guys eventually, and as you mentioned, there are a ton of options thankfully.

LSU went from last in returning production in the SEC to 2nd

Will be interesting to be on this board again this year.

LSU is either #1 in the SEC or #14 in the SEC in this thing like every other year

Thankfully we’re finally at a point where Stoops has built SEC quality depth, so the drop off shouldn’t be much at all. Particularly with the new offense.

Speaking of the OL, Kentucky's should be pretty legit this year with Kinnard coming back.

Just need to find a QB to take advantage of it, IMO.

Meh. This was our QB last year. You know, the one that had 3 ACL surgeries and was about as mobile as the Rock of Gibraltar....

As long as we have Kevin Harris coming back, we cool...

Is this why they’re getting so much preseason love?

Miami couldn't get anyone to play better than the one that played last year! :)
