Alabama has every right to use that excuse, cause we've actually been to a BCS bowl.

Seeing Arkansas fans cry out in jubilation as their mighty razorbacks rushed to midfield after defeating ECU, one might have thought you guys had just won a BCS bowl. Sadly, though, this event will likely never occur.

Are you talking about the same Alabama team that almost choked a big lead against a true freshman lead Texas team.

When Arkansas competes on the field against Alabama, talk. Until then, shut the hell up.

Maybe he's talking about the one that just beat Texas for a BCS Championship?

Whoever brought ECU into this equation really put me in a foul mood.

You can talk about my mom, you can call me names, and you can even talk shite to me for being an Alabama fan.

But as soon as you talk shite about my Alma mater, my own beloved ECU Pirates, shite IS GONNA GET REAL.

OK, did some dumbass piggy just mention Texas?

Texas f'ing owns Arkansas in every way imaginable. Then again, so does Alabama. I wonder what it must be like having to DREAM about competing with the big boys like Texas and Alabama.

You should lighten up a bit, duder. Whoever mentioned ECU was just being a smartass. Every true Arkansas fan that watched that game gained all of the respect in the world for ECU as a legit team. And every true Arkansas fan knows that it was Hartman that won the game for his opposition. Whether they admit it or not is a different story.

I'm fairly certain that Arkansas went into that game with big heads and ended up performing very poorly because of it. Seriously? 0/13 3rd down conversions? A Heisman hopeful can't do that shite.

Anyway, back to my point: Arkansas fans know what happened that night, and if they didn't respect ECU then (which many did because of Skip Holtz), then they sure as hell do now. So get the frick over it and don't let some smartass on the internet get you all fired up.

me too. i was just wonderin cuz i'm not sure i've ever experienced a night that cold. i attribute that to our performance as much as underestimating ECU. Although we definetly underestimated them.

^^ I've never been that cold in my life. I couldn't even feel my feet.

I'm sure that the cold had much to do with the Hogs performance on the field. But the ECU boys were in the same boat. I can't give them enough credit.

onsidering our 57 bowl appearances, and 32 bowl victories, when has that been an excuse. And if you are referencing the Sugar Bowl, I don't see how the scenarios of 2008 Alabama and 2009 Arkansas match. One was getting to a bowl for the first time in two years, the other, while playing in a BCS bowl, had fallen a game short of the national title game. Who do you think had more motivation?

cue Capstone with stats mostly dominated from 60 years ago to try and cover up an embarrassing loss to a mid major mormon school.
