Good thing it goes by their ranking at the time they played so the outcome of that game doesn't effect it.
Everyone else is playing 6-9 top 25 teams a year, and Mizzou played 1 all year.
You sure about that Hoss?
Best to remain silent and be thought a fool, than open your mouth and remove all doubt.

If UGA had won the East, and they were to beat Bama on Saturday, they'd get in the playoffs guaranteed.
Hmmm...Ga Tech.

I think most real MIZZOU fans would like to see an upgrade in our OOC schedule as well. the move to the SEC kinda put us in a temporary bind scheduling wise
Agreed

but, we do have BYU and West Virginia on the upcoming OOC schedule which is an improvement at least
Yep, it's a work in progress
Mizzou has a good team. The season is over, the fans have no input on the schedule or how good or bad the east teams are but the tigers beat most of the teams they faced this year. Congrats on a good season hope you win your bowl game (hope Bama does what we couldn't in the SECC)

You're not very bright are you? When you beat a ranked team they have a tendency to no longer stay ranked. When you lose to ranked teams (see Arkansas) they stay ranked.
That whole bama being 4 on SOS kinda shits all over your narrative here, especially since they've won 11 times, dontcha think?

I believe WVU is a home and home. BYU is a home game for them and a "neutral" site game in Kansas City. I think we also have Purdue the next couple of years.. again, not great OOC, but on par with the majority of other power 5 teams schedule wise. It hurts us that we no longer have a natural OOC rivalry to schedule like UF,USC and UGA does.. the majority of the Big 12 just wont play us right now...period...same with the upper level teams from the Big10...

Yes, he clearly says in the OP "Mizzou has played 9 teams ranked in the top 25 at the time of kickoff over the last 2 years".
Almost every single West team plays that yearly. Again, trying to spin something as impressive when it is not. Just annoying is all.

Mizzou has an extremely soft schedule. And they refuse to play a high level OOC game like the other top SEC teams do.

Everyone, chill out.
It was a comment I saw on ESPN and thought I'd post it.
Hence, why it is in quotations. Thought I would see what you guys thought.

We have the third most wins in only nine tries to your suggested 18 in a two year span.
2nd best % against top 25 teams.
Sorry mate.

Minus the SEC, that is still pretty bad in the SEC.
For example, after Texas Tech's return trip to Fayetteville next year, Arkansas starts a home and home @TCU in 2016 and host them in 2017. After that series we begin a home and home with Michigan who come 2018-19 will probably be the old Wolverines versus the shite show they are now, and then after that series we resume the Texas series.
Arkansas has the #2 SOS this year, and will continue to have at worst a Top 5 SOS every year through probably 2021.
Goes the same usually for LSU, Bama, and others that schedule a tough OOC series regularly or at least a single neutral site game against a top end team.

You only played 1 this year and lost 34-0.

Rest of the SEC played on average 5, in the West on average 6. You played ONE.
It's about the OOC more than anything anyways, Mizzou needs to schedule a big OOC series/game like most others do.

As stated from the STL dispatch we are 6-3 in the last 2 years. 3rd most in the SEC, 2nd best %.

I think many are saying their schedule is a weak SEC schedule. First, playing in the down East Division and then their two games against West teams are the bottom two West teams.
None of this is any fault of Mizzou. Schedules will even out.
I don't fault their non-conference schedule playing a Big Ten team and Toledo has been a fairly good MAC team.

Cool, how is that working out for the playoffs this year? You're a non factor even if you beat Bama, because of your schedule.
You could be SEC Champions on Saturday, and it would result in the SEC having no teams in first ever CFB Playoffs. Sweet. Awesome.

According to Sagrin's rankings TN's 5 hardest games were Vs. #1, @#2, @#6, @#9 and #16.
Missouri's were #6, #14, @#21, @#22, @#30
So IMO Missouri's hardest game of the year (which they lost 34-0) was easier than 4 of TN's games.
That is just retarded for two teams in the same division to have that imbalanced of schedules.
Missouri would be 8-4 at best with TN's schedule IMO.

It looks like Arkansas had 5 games harder or equal to Missouri's hardest game!
#1, #2, @#4, #6, @#7

exactly... does anyone in their right mind think that Florida and the Vols are not going to rise up again? I don't know what happened to Carolina this year, but, they have been a very respectable program as well...and of course, UGA always has a chance to be really good with the talent they recruit. I will have to do a little research on it, but, I don't MU's OOC schedule was/in significantly worse overall than most power 5 schools. they just haven't had that marquee name on the schedule.

Get your shite straight, numbnuts.
South Carolina and Texas A&M were both ranked when we played them.
If fact we had the pleasure of being the team to knock SC from the rankings for the first time in like 5 years.

So much ignorance in such a small space. Kind of impressive, actually.
Also what math are you using to come up with your "Missouri's hardest game was easier than 4 of TN's games" fact?
