I've actually met and talked to both in person. Both are really cool guys IRL. A lot of people claim they'd love to have their jobs but I wouldn't. They get scrutinized more than coaches.

Tiger Pox are you a Gene's Page or Mississippi State 24/7 girl?
Momma and Daddy got me signed up on all of them.

I'll check out Bulldogblitz, 24/7, GenesPage and SixPackSpeak. A lot of the same information is tossed between them, but they are all real nice guys running the sites. A lot of the quality posts are at 24/7 but there is always a lot of information at Gene's Page if you can sort through it. I really liked Bulldawgjunction before all of the hooplah.

but a young guy like Byrne was much more able to relate to Merlins than LT would have

The arguemnt isn't whether or not Byrne is a better AD than Larry Templeton. How did that even get brought into this discussion? That literally has NOTHING to do with any of this.

The same goes for Boone/Archie talking to Rich Rod/Malzahn

Boone won't have much at all to do with this search and hire. Archie will have a lot more and, guess what, he's got incredible connections. In fact, he's friends with Rich Rod from back when Rich Rod was at Tulane. Rich Rod has said as much. That's just one example of many.

So have I. Yancy is extremely high strung and Steve hates OM more than he loves State.

We've been bad for, oh, a year-and-a-half. We'll be back to competing. This shite is cyclical, and anybody with a memory that lasts longer than a few months (see: not you) knows this.

Oh, and sweet use of the emoticons. What the frick are you, 12? Nice try getting people to take your horseshite responses seriously. Don't you have some tires to align or something? If Cletus catches you on the breakroom computer he's gonna shite a brick.

Lets go over the checklist

Ole Mrs Athletic programs:
Baseball-Under Achieved-CHECK
Basketball-Never Achieved-Check
Football-Has turned into one of, if not THE worst team in the Country-Check

I would say its crystal clear that your whole athletic program is a complete joke. The sad thing is, You know this, but there is nothing worse than facing the cold sad truth. Unless your the rest of the SEC who is having a blast watching your whole program hit the absolute rock bottom. It couldn't have happened to a more deserving fan base!

Well I'm sure whoever you hire will have you in the national title picture in no time. Foward Rebels!

Listen if you think Yancy is a loon fine by me, but if you think that Gene and Steve are any better, that is ludicrous.

I met Yancy on the square after the Egg Bowl last year and he told me that night that CJ Johnson was going to go to Ole Miss. I Met Steve at a HS game this season. He is a big dude a lot taller than I pictured him.

His life long dream. Getting Rick Stansbury fired.

We only won our opening basketball game last night by 10 and he is calling for Stansbury's head already.

Considering the talent lost in the past two years, we performed about as well as we should have.

Kansas is still out there!

Here's what your fat arse doesn't get: my Ole Miss fandom isn't determined by the wins and losses of the program. My love for Ole Miss comes from the fact that I graduated from there (something which I hope to God you didn't do from State, because you clearly write like an uneducated arse) and spent four years of my youth there. I love my friends and family from there. I love Oxford and everything it has to offer. I loved the professors I had and the educational opportunities I was afforded.

So. fricking. What regarding the football team. Yeah, we've lost a lot of games over the past two years. I'm still an Ole Miss fan, and your horseshite won't fricking change that. Suck my arse, you fricking clown.

Now get that fried cheese out of your mouth, and take your hoverround down to the WalMart; you're running low on your Rx insulin, I hear.

Not saying that are any better than Yancy, but they are doing what they have to do to sell subscriptions, just as Yancy does. I don't venture over to the Spirit nor do I care to so I will admit that I am biased.

When I say Steve and Gene have more information if you can sort through it, I'm mainly talking about practice reports and such. I followed recruiting two years and between OM and MSU and the rumors and drama; that was enough to last me a lifetime.

I like 24/7 and the board setup and I have always been a fan of Paul Jones. I talked to all of the reporter guys a few years ago and they may not be able to pick me out in a crowd, but they definitely know my name. I'll look for you at 24/7, I'm more of a lurker on all of those boards than a poster.
