After reading the ole miss posters responses it was pretty well known this kid and probably others are using this stuff regularly
Where was the coaching staff? Were they not trying to get this issue resolved?

I lost a brother to synthetic weed... caused some serious seizures and his body was too badly damaged to fight off infections..Was a slow death in a hospital.
I hope this guy is ok if this is true. I personally think he is a heck of a player

I was told by Ole Miss people he was found by friends unconscious after having a seizure.
So that sounds terrible. Hope the kid is ok.

i skimmed this thread last night- did i see that he's been in there since monday? that's scary and sad.
i'm not dogging the guy, but i don't see how anyone uses that stuff anymore after all the horror stories we've heard.

I hope he's ok and makes full recovery, or that it's not nearly as bad as it's being made out to be... but... I'm sorry.. but what a dumbass. You have what... 3... maybe 4... games left (which is, after all, why you are are Ole Miss). Why jeopardize your career or even your life like this?

Rumor is he was found passed out on campus with synthetic weed.
Sad for that young man.
On a different note, maybe that shite killing a young top athlete will go a long way towards saving thousands of young lives.
I hope he ends up well, but once someone goes to icu because of this shite, it usually doesn't end well. ICU because of synthetic shite usually means you're on a reaperator and not breathing/functioning on your own.
Hope this synthetic shite is just a rumor!

Are the only real facts so far that:
1) he was admitted to the ICU on Monday
2) he is still in ICU
There is a suspicion that this was from synthetic weed, but that is unconfirmed so far?
Hopefully he can recover and learn from this.

Addiction is a disease. He probably doesn't have the ability to be logical about it.

Heard it wasn't synthetic weed. He was found incoherent in one of the woods by a volunteering group and he was tripping off acid. At least that's what's going around campus

You can't be serious.

There's no way acid put this guy in the icu. People have taken sheets without ending up in the icu. Maybe the mental hospital, sure, but he's not in a acid coma.

Agreed. I have..."friends"...with experience in this area and acid alone did not put him in the ICU unconscious for 4 days.

Is spice addictive?

So much disinformation out there about drugs. You can't fricking die from LSD. And neither LSD nor weed are addictive in anyway.
Hell, if he did enough acid he would probably come to the realization that synthetic weed is a horrible idea.

Is he still in the hospital??
This article came out at midnight last night. Why all the secrecy? Why doesn't OM make a statement on his condition? One of their star players is essentially missing...

Just stating what I heard here on campus. Doesn't mean I'm right

Tell that to someone with terminal cancer, or ALS. It's criminal to compare them to someone that uses drugs or alcohol and BECOMES addicted.
Talk about cop out posts.....

I think addiction is a disease.
I don't think spice leads to this disease. Its not heroin. In fact, its not even enjoyable. Kids smoke it because they are trying to find a weed replacement due to illegality and drug tests.

Not a attacking, just saying that acid cannot put him in icu for days. Just trying to shed some light.
Of course, I always though lsd lasts too long, so I haven't touched it in 12-15 years.
I still wish football players were allowed to have something like this in their room
it'll happen in most of the south with a decade. There's way too much money to be made for private industry and the government.Posted on 11/19/15 at 10:36 am to Diamondawg
