Just an aside, if......a big "if"....LSU was to be punished, Texas & now V.Tech would have be hit with the same punishment. Both now have former professional players on their rosters.

This story would not have blown up to the level it has had Kiffin remained at Ole Miss.
Once Kiffin left Ole Miss in the middle of playoff run for the better job of LSU, it triggered something in national sports media members’ brains to where anything Kiffin does at LSU is now considered to be the worst thing of all time.

He was already getting bad press here for the flopping debacle. It would've been way worse press for us.
