Sorry but you’re delusional to think this won’t or shouldn’t have a drastic impact on Ole Miss. He is far and away the best hitter on the team and was having a player of the year like season. It’s a disaster that he got hurt in a non contact play in a 12-4 midweek game

A lot of injuries this year, wishing him a speedy recovery. Dude is built to be a major leaguer.
Makes me wonder how much of this is related to COVID and having basically a year off.

He was dodging the first baseman and landed funny. Don’t think CoVID is involved

Sure hope it’s a sprain at worst . Talk about torpedoing a season :(
Well, here's your excuse for when what we all know is going to happen to Ole miss baseball this year eventually happens.
Joking aside, I wish nothing but the best for this young man and hope the injury isn't serious. He's a helluva ball player, and we state fans want you guys at full strength when you visit DNF later this month.

He played summer ball and we had full fall and spring workouts...not Covid related

Sucks for this kid. Hopefully it's nothing serious.

It's baseball. Anything can happen. One player can't make or break a team, especially one that isn't an ace pitcher.
