Did anyone notice that Alabama's name (script A) mysteriously disappeared from the scoreboard 2 minutes before the end of the game?

Yes, they're speakers.
So far I've seen MSU fans thinking it was rain cover (wtf?) and Ags thinking it was light fixtures (obviously visually impaired).
We've complained for years about the volume of the speakers so they added speakers all around the stadium to help out the problem. I thought they sounded pretty good this game.

Our stat display has been buggy the first two games. When the game started all the rushing and passing stats on the ribbon boards where showing the numbers from the wofford game.
