It's a good book. Mike Leach got screwed. He proves it beyond the shadow of a doubt.

I think it goes further back than that. He was just talking about what I posted today.
Tim Brando is absolutely not objective when it comes to Nutt. They're apparently close friends.

Leach puts out an "IDGAF" attitude that turns a lot of people off. Add the fact that the dude has been chilling in Key West for the past couple of years doesn't help.
His "IDGAF" attitude has to do with not being intimidated. I wouldn't have hung around Lubbock either after what a few people did to him.

Leach is more likely to pull a Nutt ms put it on cruise control after going 7-5.
Leach is in no way like that...and never has been.

Mike Leach dude
This will not happen for numerous reasons. First off he put a player "supposedly" into a closet for something when we had a player die during conditioning last year. Just those 2 things don't seem like they should go together, it just doesn't feel right to me. Maybe that's just me.
Also his system the O line plays extremely wide splits. What makes the SEC great is the speed on the d line which would destroy Leach's o line and kill his entire offense. Not to mention he hasn't had a top 75 defense ever because the offense runs no time off the clock because they either throw incomplete or score fast and the defense is always tired.
Not to mention he never won the Big 12 south. He has really done nothing of accomplishment then beat up on the down teams in the Big 12 and Houston/SMU types.

It's been proven false

Won games at UK as the OC with that system and shitty UK players

Yeah, being one win away from the NC game the year we beat them in the Cotton Bowl wasn't shite.

Someone suggested on an OM site that we should just throw the 150 million from the capital campaign at Saban.

Obviously not enough to get them to Atlanta

Try 2 games counting the Big 12 title game. He didn't even make it to that then got his shite thrown by a middle of the pack SEC team. You just proved my point. His best team at TT couldn't even compete with the 4th best team in the SEC.

There were only a handful of teams that could have beat us at the end of the 08 season, we were absolutely loaded with talent and it makes me sick we lost 4 games.
I also think the tech players were let down for having to play in the cotton bowl.

But still the concept that he has never actually won anything except for the bottom feeders of the Big 12 and non BCS Texas schools holds true. Except for that one time the best receiver in college football was pussy pushed and didn't fall out of bounds.
Also Leach's personality doesn't fit Ole Miss. Just not a good match to me.

I guess that $10 million settlement paid to him was just for shits giggles.

He was the OC. His job was to put up points. Which they did. If I'm not mistaken he had a bit of success at OU too and everywhere else he went.

Look at what he was working with? If he had SEC talent he would be scary.
