What's so funny is I don't see them Rebs winning another game this year except maybe Vandy

4 false starts for Texas and two delay of games were hilarious

Congrats on beating Arkansas and some high school teams. if bama didn't "stomp" us, y'all sure as hell aren't in Oxford.

Just to clarify, if we beat Ole Miss we still haven't beaten anybody, right?

Who do we have to beat before we haven't beaten anybody?

If we go 9-3 with losses to UF, LSU and Bama are we still a shitty team that best nobody? Surely that's not possible to be 5-3 in the mighty SEC and to not have beaten anybody.

So who is "somebody" left on our schedule? Ole Miss, Auburn, Miss St, Mizzou?

I wouldn't say shitty. But, just not in the upper echelon of the conference. Second tier which is like the first tier in any other conference.

He could take his time knowing he was up by 5 touchdowns.

That was Texas' little gift to you guys.

Ole Miss fans have reason to be optimistic because they are improving. It's not like they are going to hang their head and accept that the newbies are going to walk in to their house and beat them like a drum nor should they. They have a legit shot in an objective analysis.

As an Aggie it doesn't bother me a bit. I don't expect to be respected until we win an SEC Title and that is about as likely this year as Gary Johnson winning the Presidency. I'm excited about our team and I can look at the matchups and see why A&M should crush Ole Miss.

Ole Miss has some talent on D but they don't have enough and they have weaknesses. Sumlin's D is all about exploiting weaknesses. In the Texas game all they had to do was give it to their fast guys or send them on fly routes and Ole Miss couldn't keep up. A&M has at least as much speed on offense as Texas. Manziel is likely as fast as anyone on the Ole Miss D and he is probably only about the 3rd or 4th fastest guy on the A&M offense. Bama actually matched up poorly with Ole Miss because their offense is vanilla and power oriented. A&M's offense is break neck pace and spreads the field while always being unpredictable. It's very hard to defend with elite athletes. It's nearly impossible to defend without them and without experience playing against a similar offense. The real problem is the A&M offense can score a lot of points very quickly and make a close game into a blowout in half a quarter.

Ole Miss does have a good offense and a great WR. It's not like A&M is unfamiliar with that though. Say what you will about the Big 12 last year but they had some very explosive offenses. Your OL is also not that great and you are susceptible to the pass rush which won't bode well for you.

We will see what happens. Maybe Manziel comes down to Earth and starts getting careless with the football. Maybe Freeze has something planned that catches Sumlin off guard. I just don't see it though, A&M is a very confident team right now and firing on all cylinders. It's a bad time to play them.

You underestimate Ole Miss's speed and our offense isn't that unpredictable right now

We still win

Beating state or Auburn on the road would be something to brag about

Yeah our D can fly. The only instance where Texas' speed beat us was on the TD by the track star where if it weren't for a missed tackle it would have been a negative play. Those deep balls were jump balls not our guys getting beat.
